MJMC (Master of Journalism and Mass Communication) is a postgraduate mass communication program which is of 2-year duration. This program involves the study of Newspapers, Magazines, Cinema, Radio, etc to convey information to the audience.
To be considered eligible for MJMC, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university with an aggregate of at least 50% marks.
Admission to this program will be done based on the candidate's performance in the entrance test followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview or on the basis of the candidate's performance in the Bachelor’s degree examination. The course curriculum of MJMC includes concepts of news, the role of journalism in society, history of journalism, skills in identifying news and also covers all the social and political issues arising in a particular society.
Rabindranath Tagore University, Bhopal was established as part of the AISECT Foundation and Group of Universities with other counterparts situated in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Bihar. The AISECT Group of Universities work with a motive to promote skill-based education and learning and make quality global-standard education accessible and affordable to sub-urban and rural students.
The AISECT foundation was established with the aim to bridge the growing skill and information and communication gap between urban and rural & sub-urban youth. The task is being executed through skill development, education, e-governance, and services network. AISECT aims to uplift and empower the rural and sub-urban areas of the nation through inclusive changes like quality education and training.
AISECT has established a PAN-India presence with 6 state-level universities and 37,500 Skill Provider Centres or Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendras across 5 Union Territories, 28 states, 33 Regional Offices, and 20 State Offices. The entire network is designed to be all inclusive and established at the grassroot levels to provide sub-urban and rural youth easy and affordable access to vocational training and education in accordance with the international standards.

Rabindranath Tagore University fees range from Rs 200 to Rs 315000 per year, depending on the degree level, duration, and specialization of the course. The college offers 162 courses at PG, UG, Ph.D, Diploma, and Certificate programscourses in PGD. Admission to Rabindranath Tagore University courses is open for the academic year 2024-25. For admission the college conducts CLAT. In addition to this, scores of CAT, MAT, NMAT, BITSAT, AJEE, Jharkhand B.Ed., XAT, MP Pre B.Ed., DU-B.Ed., CBSE 10th, CMAT, NEET, JEE Main, MPBSE 10th, AILET, LSAT, B.Ed., UP B.Ed.
