Department of Computer Science & Engineering was established in 2001 and accredited by NBA in 2008 for its compliance with standards of academic quality and infrastructure-based education. The department has a four-year B.Tech program with an intake of 180. The department also offers a two-year M.Tech program with an intake of 18. Candidates must have B.E/B.Tech (60% or equivalent CGPA) in Computer Science/ Information Technology/CSE/CS & IT/MCA degree from a recognized university.
M.Tech. in VLSI Design
Very Large Scale Integrated (VLSI) Circuit Design is the process of designing a large computer chip (more specifically, an integrated circuit, or IC), using computer-aided design (CAD) tools on a workstation or a personal computer (PC). The course demands learning the principles of VLSI design, designing and fabricating the state of-the-art VLSI chips, understanding the complete design flow and expertise to design CMOS chips for industrial requirements.
Eligibility
Candidates must have passed B.E/ B.Tech. in their respective disciplines with a minimum of 50% in aggregate or equivalent CGPA from a recognized university.
M.Tech in Civil Engineering
Master of Technology or M.Tech. Civil Engineering is a 2 year postgraduate technical program which deals with designing, supervision and construction activities of public works like roads, bridges, tunnels, buildings, airports, dams, water works, sewage systems, ports etc. and offers a multitude of challenging career opportunities.
