Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday distributed 384 appointment letters to youths in Odisha as part of the Rozgar Mela launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Congratulating the newly inducted recruits, Pradhan said, "India has become the fifth largest economy in the world and is poised to become the third largest economy by another three years".
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who want to apply for the post must have e passed 10+2 from a recognized education Board/Institution. Matric with Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subject. The age limit should be between 18 to 25 years of age.
Selection Process
Haryana Staff Selection Commission shall invite adequate number of candidates on the basis of merit obtained by them in Common Eligibility Test (CET), for Physical Measurement Test and then for Physical Screening Test both of which shall be of qualifying nature only. Candidates will have to appear for Knowledge Test as well. The medium of examination shall be bilingual i.e. Hindi/English except where the knowledge of Hindi/English language of the candidates is to be tested.
In competitive exams, candidates need to hone their word skills to score better and get better ranks. In some exams like CAT, verbal section marks are important to qualify for the exam. In such cases, one cannot risks by not preparing for the verbal sections.
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has released answer keys of the Joint Admission Test in Masters or JAM 2024 and question papers. Candidates can download these from the examination website, jam.iitm.ac.in. Before this, candidates' recorded responses in the examination were uploaded to the website.
In a significant development, the University Grants Commission (UGC), exercising its powers under the UGC Act, 1956 (as amended), has notified two key regulations for foreign higher education institutions in India.
The first- 'University Grants Commission (Academic Collaboration between Indian and Foreign Higher Education Institutions -- will offer Twinning Programme, Joint Degree, and Dual Degree Programmes) Regulations, 2022' while the second is titled 'University Grants Commission (Setting up and Operation of Campuses of Foreign Higher Educational Institutions in India) Regulations, 2023'.
